    Kris, your blogs are insightful and remind me that agents actually believe that their business success is because of "happy hapinstance" rather than their own consistent communication and good service. The brokerage is a "Service" arm of our business, but the agent is the rainmaker. As long as they do not believe this, they will stay tethered to brokers who are not innovative. Aren't we, smaller brokers, more agile to figure out what the customer really wants and alter our strategies to deliver it to them at a price they think is fair? Your thoughts on this, please.     I have wanted to see this kind of thinking from within our industry for quite a long time. I too built out a beautiful big office that cost more than it possibly returned in either income or customer satisfaction. Museums, yes that is what they are. Thank you for your thoughtful opinion, now tackle the broker/agent relationship vs commission splits and services rendered. I also think commissions between sellers and brokers are in for a value based redo. Keep talking to us - some day, we may even listen. Liz Stevens, Windermere Real Estate
