Interesting development combined with your insights on the changing landscape of real estate in the world of national brands. At present, Real Living Inc is not yet one of the national real estate brands rooted in New Mexico. I will keep an eye out and let you know what I see happening. Gahlord, your tire image is priceless as well as your insights on the simple act of testing and seeing what works and what does not. A good mix of curiousity and imagination makes many of the new tools fun and in the end it is all about learning, unlearning and learning again especially in our new landscape of real estate. • Matt, thank you for
    By Emily MedvecOctober 12, 2009 - 4:09am

Matt, thank you for connecting the dots and numbers on the government housing stimulus package. It continues to be nearly impossible to find accurate information or data on any of the new transparent government sites. I find the data that 1/3 of over 51 MILLION homeowners and their mortgages are underwater beyond staggering. At the same time, I fail to see how the HAMP program which modified 500,000 loans before November 1, 2009 is a succcess. It is time for considering real solutions and less smoke and mirrors. Imagine where we could be now if in January 2009, the new administration negotiated a lower mortgage interest rate of 4% for all homeowners from all the players who received TARP funds and mandated Freddie and Fannie to do the same. Instead the solution saved the FEW too big to fail at the cost of many Americans contining to lose their homes and/or equity in them.
