My name is John V. Giardinelli and I am the principal of The Giardinelli Law Group, APC. My practice is primarily real estate and business planning. I have an extensive background in the preparation of real estate and business transactional documents, real estate and business litigation, land use, construction defect matters, contract law, corporate law, and business law. I am an experienced trial attorney (retired) and have served as an arbitrator and mediator by private party engagement and on appointment from the Riverside Superior Court. I have been retained as an expert witness to testify a number of times regarding real estate broker/agent fiduciary duty issues. I represents a number of Associations of REALTORS® with membership exceeding 30,000 real estate professionals. I also administer several REALTOR® professional standards programs, and am an instructor for Professional Realty Institute (GRI). I have also taught a real estate class for the California State University. I write several Association newsletters, have presented several talks at the California Association of REALTORS® Business Meetings and Legal Affairs Forum, and am a frequent guest speaker and teacher at seminars and luncheons on issues of interest to real estate professionals.

I was admitted to the California Bar in 1977 after receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1974, and my Juris Doctor Degree from Western State University in 1977, where I served as an editorial board member for law review, moot court champion, and graduated with honors.

In addition to his law practice and teaching duties, I have served as a City Council member, Mayor for the City of Canyon Lake, a member of the Executive Board for the Western Riverside Council of Governments, including a year as its Chair, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the San Jacinto Junior College Foundation. Currently, I am serving as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Animal Friends of the Valley. In addition, I am Chair of the Master Planning Committee for the Canyon Lake Community Church, and a member of the Linfield Christian School’s Board of Trustees where I serve as the Chair of the Education Committee, Secretary and Treasurer.
