    Kris - one of my favorite sayings is "a lot of professionals are crackpots." frequency of exposure, especially in the new world of social media allows people who are experts in one area, expand their reach by becoming outspoken in others. Then again, people we thought were experts before the age of social media, probably were not and therefore were not outed. A terrific piece.     Teresa - I think you are spot on (no surprise there). I had a debate with someone just yesterday about this. I am not an agent but I always saw open houses as a sign of weakness, that perhaps the property was over priced or had a defect. I always saw it more as a technique for agents to meet buyers for other properties. I would think that most sellers expect an open house or the agent isn't "doing their job" but that's old school thinking.
