Great post and some good insite to Google's Social Search. There are, however, some "frustrations" or limitations as you've alluded to. I, myself, have written a blog post on Google Social Search, as well. To examine a few of the technical limitations, check out the post at http://www.socialbusiness.pro/post/Google-Social-Search-is-Still-Lacking.aspx

What an ignorant ruling that imposes unnecessary restrictions on agents and brokers. Any good programmer could still scrape data despite a robots.txt file. Besides, the robots.txt file prevents INDEXING by search engines not SCRAPING by thrid-party sites. The only way to prevent scraping is to require a site's visitors to login. Then, most visitors will stop visiting your site and utilizing your MLS. The NAR needs to fire their technology committee and get some younger agents on there who actually use today's technology.
