We are seeing an increase in First Time Home Buyers up here in the Minneapolis Market. It's a great market for them has home price are coming down, interest rates are low and there are still 100% financing programs available with the help of FHA and a down payment assistance program. I agree with you Gustavo, it's just taken a while for most of us to adjust our marketing efforts to the new market, but there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel.
We recently launched www.mlsmaps.com to give consumers free access to the mls listings in their area, provided by local agents who are using map based property search IDX solutions. We are currently looking for agents in a number of major markets who are using map based mls search on their sites. If you have map based mls search on your site, and you find that the MLS providing agent in your city or metro on MLS Maps does not, call me and I will give you the territory on our site, in exchange for a link. Unlike many of the listing marketing sites out their today, HomeGain, House Values, Just listed, etc. we offer agents entire metro areas as their exclusive territory and let the agent/broker refer out the extra leads for a commission split from fellow agents.
