Very interesting! I guess we already use it at the cash register at high end stores and at the bank. But, not sure if everyone is ready for this. Older clients and those who are from more conservative cultures still won't sign faxed copies. The tablet signature may throw them into shock. That let's us know we have to know which type of client to present this type of technology to. Lisa McKnight

In some cases the agent is 95% sure the home will not sell at the price listed but uses the listing to get buyers in that price range, which also does not work. What is does is gets the agent a reputation of not being able to sell houses because your name sits on the for sale sign for a lot longer than it should like the example above and the bad publicity by the seller. The best thing to do is not take the listing if the seller insists on setting the price too high. Lisa McKnight

Here in the Midwest, St. Louis, MO the climate is slowly changing. Shortsales and foreclosures coupled with low interest rates and new homebuyers are making the difference. Also, rehabs now look like show rooms and are driving the prices up slowly. I have been showing property two to three times a week to first time homebuyers and buyers seeking to land a short sale or foreclosure who are willing to do the work themselves. I agree, it seems we have turned a corner. Lisa McKnight
