I am a real estate broker in Berkeley California. Our market seems to have a life of its own in the midst of the present market swoon. I own a Windermere Real Estate office with 15 agents and brokers who sell in the locales around Berkeley. We are fascinated with the needs of the buyers and sellers now, and how we can best serve them. Understanding the opportunities as well as the risks for our customers helps us guide them in making good decisions. I still love negotiating contracts and meeting the people who make our business run.
