Marcie Geffner

Marcie Geffner is a veteran freelance writer, editor, reporter and columnist in Los Angeles, Calif. She has written hundreds of articles about real estate, mortgages and homeownership, which have been published by dozens of newspapers, magazines and Web sites, including Inman News, Bankrate and the Los Angeles Times. She is a former managing editor of Inman News, senior editor of California Real Estate magazine and board member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from UCLA and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
