Making the tax credit retroactive is definitely wanted and needed. Many buyers who purchased a home shortly before the $7500 tax credit are now feeling as if they were cheated. Now that this new bill is in the news every day, more buyers are waiting to see what happens before buying. After all, what's one more week or month if they can get a $15,000 tax credit? Kris, love the article! True & entertaining. Phil has a good point regarding part time agents. This is not a business for part time people. Our MLS currently has just over 17,000 SFH listed. It serves 2 states: KS & MO (the 2 Kansas Cities) and outlying areas. This time last year we had over 24,000 listings. (SFH) Our system works well for residential. Most Commercial agents don't feel the need to use MLS. Health Insurance: wouldn't it be nice to have insurance that actually paid for treatment when you needed it. No pre-existing exemptions.
