Real state has been Maya Allan’s passion. “Whether handling the real estate needs for my buyers or sellers, I am dedicated to providing the utmost service with my professionalism, knowledge, and business sense,” says Maya.
Prior to joining Prudential Douglas Elliman, Maya was a international business developer succeeding in launching Steel and Petroleum products worldwide, leading business sales, managing cross cultural teams, formulating business strategies, negotiating and signing contracts, and managing fast paced, highly competitive environments. Maya’s educational achievements include a MBA in Global Management from Phoenix University, a BBA in Marketing/ Management from Baruch College, a Certificate in Accounting from Edinburgh University and a Certificate in International Affairs from Columbia University.
The combination of Maya’s professional and educational experience has led her to develop specific approaches for both her buying clients and her selling clients.
For her buyers, Maya utilizes her access to the latest, most comprehensive databases of apartments for sale to find a property that matches her clients’ vision of a dream home. This access allows her to do all the legwork to first find that perfect home, and then to help make the process of securing it as seamless as possible by negotiating a fair price, helping with applications and board approvals, obtaining a mortgage company or a lawyer and many of the other procedures involved in purchasing a property. In handling all these challenging aspects of buying real estate, Maya aims to make the experience both enjoyable and exciting for her clients.
For her sellers, Maya provides the greatest exposure for their apartment by utilizing various marketing tools such as posting pictures, descriptions, and virtual tours of their property on the Prudential Douglas Elliman web site, as well as on databases specifically designed for access by the brokerage community; placing advertisements in newspapers and other print publications; sending mass mailings to qualified buyers; conducting a comparative market pricing analysis; and much more.
Maya was born in Georgia, raised in Israel. She has lived in New York for over 23 years. She says, “I adore the City and its diversity. As a world traveler, I can easily say there is no place like New York, my home!”
