This sounds like a good option for someone who wants a virtual tour of a property, and wants it fast. It's hard to mess something like this up. I really like the way they automatically frame the uploaded video around an e-card. That's pretty cool, but it's not new. There is a free option available from Codejam for those who want to use the Ken Burns panning and zooming effects in their virtual tours and yet who want more customization options: MemoriesonWeb. I've used Codejam's products for years with good results in my personal life, and have only recently realized the benefits of using their web application for listing presentations, web commercials, and property videos for youtube. I'm still struggling a bit with getting the transitions set right for web videos - as the resolution of the 'fade' transition effect between photos really takes a hit once uploaded. As I have time to better experiment with transition effects, I'm confident I'll find the right balance. Beyond that, I'm very pleased. Whichever option you choose, the possibilities for utilization are only limited by your imagination. The brilliance of the Ken Burns' effects cannot be overstated - whatever the software you choose. As a realtor in a vacation-home market, I work remotely with 90% of my buyers. Having the ability to set up a private account for them, in which all our correspendence could be stored, sounds great. But what makes Posterous even more appealing is the ability to send and store preview videos. I've delayed in updating my iPhone to the new 3GS because I couldn't really justify the extra expense - just to get the new features. Now that I have the ability to shoot and email video with just a few clicks - either for storage on a client's site, or for posting on my real estate blog, I can't wait to try it. The potential for timesaving is so big, that it could easily justify a $200 iPhone update. Thank you, Robert. Melody Anderson RE/MAX Portside Properties www.PostcardsFromTheLake.com
