I'm a former TV News Journalist turned Public Relations Director for Crye-Leike, REALTORS... the nation's 4th largest real estate company. My professional passion is story telling - and creating a WOW factor for our corporate culture, customers and the public through effective communications. Pursuing all available new media and traditional media channels online, in print and broadcast is paramount. Writing just comes naturally. A book's been floating around in my head forever. I'm originally from Joliet, Illinois outside Chicago. I studied Broadcast Journalism and was employed as a TV news reporter and anchor for right-at two decades. Upon graduating from New Mexico State University I poured myself into the news biz from El Paso to Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and eventually Nashville. What a ride. Now for the 2nd half - I'm clearly excited by the prospects of growing a company's bottom line by doing what I know by instinct. I get it - and the gate-keepers of the informational world know I get it - and we have fun working together. I make it personal and with plenty of kindness - so everyone enjoys the experience. The best part - I'm having fun. Oh... I moved to Nashville in 1996 - and have lived in West Nashville, Bellevue for ten years. My family consists of two mixed breed dogs and an over-landscaped yard that requires my attention constantly. One of these days I'll break-down and have a sprinkler system installed for the front lawn. I enjoy rainy days - go figure. Oh - when i'm not connecting the dots - I'm running or lifting weights. Keeping one's sanity is a must and that's how I keep mine.
