If life could be summed up in one word, that word would be "service." This word would apply to my days as a Peace Corps volunteer in India in the 1960's and as a Presidential appointee to a position in the U.S. Department of State.
As a parent, I have served on my children's schools PTA. For more than ten years I have sponsored a Flag Day event in my neighborhood with local Boy and Girl Scouts, Brownies and Cub Scout Troops. In addition I have taken an active role in local school board elections helping candidates who I felt would make a positive contribution to our schools.
Today, this commitment to community endures, as I see my service to my clients and neighborhoods that I represent, as a continuation of my previous endeavors.
