Rachel Cheeney is broker/owner of Pro Resource Realty, located in Waterloo, IA. She's a Cedar Falls 'native', (since 1971), and holds degrees from Wartburg College (Waverly) and Hawkeye Community College (Waterloo).

Rachel currently serves the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors as Education/Program Committee chair. She earned her Iowa Real Estate broker license in July 2006. She has achieved REALTOR® designations of CRS, GRI, ABR,e-PRO, and most recently Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource SFR; and is an Accredited Home Staging professional (ASP). Rachel Cheeney was named “Rookie of the Year” for her 2004 real estate accomplishments, while at Oakridge Realtors, Cedar Falls. In 2008, she earned the Presidential Award for leading the MLS' Technology "Task Force" committee.

Rachel's "pre" real estate business career spans across two decades...including sixteen years in manufacturing management as Vice President, Director of Sales & Marketing for Richway Industries, Ltd., an agricultural spraying equipment and industrial equipment fabricator.

Additionally, Rachel has contributed to a variety of professional development and community organizations, as past president of the Cedar Valley Manufacturers Association, chair of Iowa State University’s CIRAS advisory council, and member of the Department of Commerce – Iowa District Export Council, in addition to her contributions as a PTA member and president, and former Girl Scouts Leader.

Rachel and her family enjoy their 1900's home and Cedar Falls acreage. Don Cheeney, her husband of 24 years, is employed by John Deere Engine Works. They have two daughters: Chelsea (a CFHS and Kaplan University graduate), is a nurse at Cedar Valley Medical Specialists Cancer Care Center; and Madeline, a soon-to-be junior at Cedar Falls High School, is a CFHS dance team member and senior company dancer at Kinetic Energy Dance Studio, also in Cedar Falls.
