Kris, Oh how true are your words. Everyone these days is an expert and knows more than do we real estate agents (or so they think). It does make our job more challenging, and we do have to work harder to earn clients' trust. I have come to the realization that if someone thinks they can do it without me, so be it - and I wish them the best of luck. Those who choose to work with me are well-cared for, and are always thankful in the end...our saving grace, I suppose. Rachel LaMar, J.D. I agree with Dorothy 100%. It should not be a hassle or something to be afraid of to report an agent who is unethical. We have all dealt with these situations and it is sad to say that not only does this problem seem to be getting worse, but reporting of these situations concurrently seems to be decreasing. I have blogged about this topic and spoken with many agents, across the country, who are in agreement. We really should be dealing with ethics violations in a much better way. It effects our clients, can create lawsuits and tarnishes the reputation of our industry and those of us who do the right thing. Rachel LaMar, J.D. Teresa, I couldn't agree with you more about so many people misunderstanding Twitter (in fact I have blogged about this as well). If I follow someone on Twitter and I see a single Tweet about their services or that they are a great agent, I unfollow them. Twitter has been so valuable to me and I have only been using it seriously for under two years. I have connected with some amazing people, and I have also had some teaching and national blog opportunities come my way because of Twitter. You are right that many Realtors don't "get" it, but I also think it is not something that can be learned by taking a class. You either see the benefit and make it work for you, or you do not. That's ok...it just makes it all the more valuable for those of us who do "get" it. Rachel LaMar, J.D.
