In our local community this is electiion time for City Council. You can not imagine the outright hateful, personal attachs, lies, and comments being left on editorial blogs, most of them done by city employees trying to protect the dictator empire. Mr. O'Keefe is right on, you can trash anyone you want or praise yourself. By the way, the newspaper told me they would NOT release the identity of the attackers and that there is no relief in the court system. So why would this be any different? How many of you fill out the surveys you get after you purchase something online or get tech support etc? Why would anyone take the time to do that other than a self serving action?
I think it is only fair to point out that the 23% that sold with the 2nd Realtor, may have been the type not to take the 1st Realtor's advice on price etc. I like the articles that point out "sometimes you have to say "no" to a seller". I give good customer service, but I have walked away from listings due to abusive sellers and unreasonable ones also. And, I have been happy to see them go.
I had a listing that was a short sale and IndyMac was the 1st lien holder. We received an offer...no way to reach IndyMac, COULD NOT talk to loss mitigation or even leave a message their answering system would hang up on you. I mailed the contract, two months later, no word from IndyMac, buyer walked. Now, five months later still have NEVER heard from IndyMac and my seller is in foreclosure.
