I'm glad to see the gentlemen at Active Rain holding their ground. There are agents signing up for accounts even though they have to pay now and I think the SEO assistance Active Rain provides is well worth the cost. They found a way to monetize the site without penalizing those who got them there. I still think they're the best blogging platform a real estate agent or industry related vendor can use. If they do what they say they're going to do and continue to take care of the people taking care of them, I imagine the site will be worth more than 50 mil in a few years especially with more and more consumers and agents going to the net to do real estate related research and business.
