The Real Estate Lounge Chicago with @properties

Thomas McCarey is among the top real estate professionals representing buyers and sellers in Chicago. With a portfolio largely comprised of luxury dwellings in Chicago's near north and northwest sides, the city's North Shore suburbs and its near west suburbs, McCarey enjoys the accolades of his many clients.

Among the praise directed to McCarey is his unparalleled work ethic, his incomparable knowledge of the market, and the seamless manner in which he integrates emerging technologies to meet the needs of his buying and selling clients.

With respect to his clients McCarey says, “At the end of the day my job distills to this one truth – my clients tell me what they want. I take great pride in devising and putting into action successful strategies that enable me to give them what they ask for.”

With an emphasis on north and northwest side neighborhoods that include Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Lincoln Square, the East Village, Edgewater, Andersonville, and the Gold Coast, the strategies that McCarey implements on behalf of his buying and selling clients are rooted in his encyclopedic knowledge of the marketplace and his commitment to making sure his clients know the market as well (if not better) than other realtors.

With respect to servicing the specific needs of his listing clients, Tom relies on what he calls his “Push Forward” technique. This technique relies on integrating state-of-the-art technologies such as online marketing and advertising, property-specific websites, a professional website and, most recently, his www.TheRealEstateLoungeChicago.com blog. A simple google search of “Tom McCarey” or “The Real Estate Lounge Chicago” attests to Tom’s effective use of new technologies to “push forward” his clients’ listings to the widest possible audience.

McCarey lives with his wife and two sons on Chicago’s north side (where he has lived since completing studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana).

  • Kris, I can relate. I do

Kris, I can relate. I do relate. I have related. When you think about it it's like we are sitting in front of one of those old phone systems where each phone call requires you to plug the cord into the console. We have Blackberry cell phones and text messages and wireless laptops and personal and brokerage websites and blogs and property websites and social networks... But more important we have families, and ourselves, and our clients, and our communities. The technology, you remind me with your fine piece today, is to use it as a tool toward the goal of living a rich and balanced life. Thanks for reminding me to laugh at myself with the Bluetooth affixed to my ear and an eye on today's appointments on Outlook. Reminders like you provide to day are an important way to keep myself on track. Thanks! Tom McCarey The Real Estate Lounge Chicago www.TheRealEstateLoungeChicago.com

  • Will Shakespeare opined that
    By Thomas McCareyMay 2, 2008 - 6:34pm

Will Shakespeare opined that we should start with the attorneys. But his quill was dipped in irony as he urged being rid of lawyers. On the other hand "Psuedo Doctor" Dani has dipped her keyboard in nothing more than self-promotion or possibly avarice as she blames realtors for the current market. Her prescription to be rid of realtors is akin to treating medical maladies without a healthcare professional or going to court without an attorney. None of the above represents sound reasoning. Maybe Dani is a lot smarter than the rest of us. Or, more likely, she's just another self-promoter looking for lightning in a bottle.
