David Carroll started softRealty.com after a decade of experience in enterprise software development. He was the principal architect for two Microsoft Gold Partners developing enterprise solutions for companies such as DoubleClick, Bank of America, Coca Cola, Kodak, Global Payments, and dozens of other publically held and private companies, as well as, several startups. 

Driven by entrepreneurial innovation, David Carroll launched softRealty.com in 2008 with a fresh new user experience in MLS Property Search and for the first time ever, making it FREE to real estate agents. In 2009, David continued challenging the status quo with a game changing concept known as Anonymous Lead Capture - ending the debate on Forced Registration.

This unique approach to lead capture was built on a proprietary platform that tracks all anonymous activity as if they were registered accounts. Agents can thereby qualify anonymous activity over the course of multiple visits and send messages presented in a friendly, noninvasive style similar to LinkedIn or Facebook. This enables agents to connect with home buyers early in the process and convert into clients like never before.
