Michael Hickman began his real estate career with Seven Gables Real Estate in 1976 and quickly distinguished himself as one of the firm’s most productive and successful agents. From the onset of his career, he used an extensive background in marketing to expand his personal business and then later in 1983 when promoted to Broker Manager, used his vast management skills and experience to grow Seven Gables’ market share. Today, as President and COO of Seven Gables Real Estate, he oversees the day to day operations of the company at its corporate office with a sales staff comprised of 250 full time sales associates and administrative personnel.
A passionate and creative visionary, Hickman’s leadership style is one that fosters action rather than demands results, creates opportunities rather than dictates activities and treasures diversity rather than demand uniformity. To that end, he is the driving force behind Seven Gables’ traditional, yet progressive business philosophy and remains steadfastly involved in all aspects of the firm’s technological and operational expansion.
