Paul is a founding partner at HousingWire, a U.S.-based financial news and advisory service focused exclusively on real estate finance, and CEO of The LTV Group, a media and communications firm. HousingWire is the largest online newswire by readership in the mortgage finance industry, reaching millions of readers globally; a monthly print magazine, launched in Sept. 2008, now reaches more than 20,000 subscribers each month, as well. Jackson's opinions on the U.S. housing market are highly sought after by industry insiders, helping HW earn a loyal following as both media outlet and trusted industry strategist.

A true industry insider within the U.S.-based mortgage servicing community, Paul began his career at Jackson & Associates, a law firm specializing in post-foreclosure legal process for many of the nation's largest banks and servicing shops. He also is the former Associate Publisher and Editor-in-Chief at DS News, a niche trade publication focused on residential mortgage default management, and has held various positions within the media and advertising industries.

Jackson holds an MBA from UC Irvine, and studied for a Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, reaching all-but-dissertation status in his research of consumer behavior. He also holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Southern California.
