Richard Renton

Executive Vice President & CIO, Triad MLS

Richard is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Triad MLS, Inc., a regional Shareholder Association(s) owned MLS serving over 4,000 users in the eleven county Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina encompassing Alamance (Burlington), Caswell, Davie, Davidson, Forsyth (Winston-Salem), Guilford (Greensboro/High Point), Randolph (Asheboro), Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin Counties.  He is responsible for the current and long term operations and growth of Triad MLS in addition to providing shareholders and their members the highest quality real estate related data available.  After just completing a conversion from one MLS database, (back end and front end), to another in 2009, he is looking forward to offering more services to his members without increasing their costs.  This platform and back end database will allow Triad MLS to continue providing the level of service our members have grown accustomed to, says Renton. 

He is currently serving as the 2010 MLS Regional Executive on the NAR Board of Directors as well as the NAR Association Executives Committee.  Prior to joining Triad MLS, Richard was Director of Information Systems at a Third Party Administrator which provided self-funded employee benefit plans to its customers.  There, he managed IT operations and developed strategies to accommodate and facilitate company growth.
