Seann Birkelund

VP of Business Development, Education.com

Seann is the Vice President of Business Development at Education.com, the leading provider of local school information to the on-line real estate and media industries.  Prior to joining the company, Seann was a venture capitalist with Azure Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading investments in the Software, Internet, and Media practice at the firm. During his tenure at Azure, Seann helped fund, manage, and advise a number of leading technology companies, including Bill Me Later, Brightkite, Knowledge Adventure, OQO, SourceCode Technologies, and Zend.

Seann holds an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Economics and Pre-law from American University.
