Spencer Rascoff is Chief Operating Officer at Zillow.com, one of largest real estate Web sites with more than 8 million visitors each month. In this role, he oversees the areas of marketing, business development, partner relations, and finance. Spencer regularly appears on national broadcast outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and Fox News to discuss real estate data and housing trends.  A respected voice in the real estate industry, he is also a featured expert in Forbes.com’s “Industry Insights” monthly column and has spoken at Inman Connect, the National Association of REALTORs conference, and other major real estate industry events.

Prior to joining Zillow.com, Spencer was Vice President of Lodging for Expedia. In 1999, Spencer co-founded Hotwire.com, a leading Internet travel company, and ran several product lines there. Before his career at Hotwire, Spencer served as an investment professional at the Texas Pacific Group, a leading private equity firm. Previously, Spencer worked as an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs in New York. He also held other positions at Bear Stearns and Allen & Company. Spencer graduated cum laude from Harvard University.
