Stewart Title tackles real estate bundling

Stewart Title Co. recently announced the creation of Stewart Realty Solutions, a new, wholly owned subsidiary that will develop and market a bundle of information services, technology applications, title insurance and closing services and Internet-based real estate transaction management solutions for realty firms in the United States.

Travis Wright, a 30-year veteran of the real estate brokerage, real estate franchising and mortgage banking industries, will lead the company as president and chief executive officer. Kelly Hawkins will serve as vice president and chief operating officer. Hawkins has served at Stewart for 15 years and has been responsible for implementing the SureClose technology platform throughout the Stewart Title network.

SureClose, Stewart's online transaction management system, is currently in use in more than 500 Stewart Title affiliate and independent issuing offices across the nation.
