Transwestern brokers Virginia office deal
Class A building sells for more than $42 million

Transwestern Commercial Services represented TIC LLC in the sale of 4401 Ford Ave., a 217,171-square-foot office building located in Alexandria, Va.
The value of the transaction was $42.2 million.
Located near the interchange of Interstate 395 and Route 7, 4401 Ford Ave. is a class A, 14-story building that recently received an estimated $8 million renovation, upgrading the main lobby, elevator lobbies, rest rooms, common area corridors, exterior patio and plaza improvements, HVAC systems and parking garage.
4401 Ford Ave. was 77.5 percent leased at the time of sale to tenants such as Altarum, Erkiletian Construction Co., Legum & Norman, Inc. and National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology.
