RealtyU has chosen a list of priority education topics for the year, and seller agency, new business concepts, management skills, buying and selling foreclosure properties, and construction basics rank among the hot items.
About 65 managers and owners of the 40 affiliate schools and colleges of RealtyU discussed popular courses during an annual planning session in Las Vegas. RealtyU, founded in 1994, is the largest real estate educational network in the country, with about 600 real estate educators and instructors in 43 states. RealtyU affiliates educated more than 230,000 real estate professionals in 2003, and are projected to educate about 250,000 professionals this year.
Among the other popular course topics selected by RealtyU administrators: retirement plans for agents, recruiting and retention in the new world, property management, working with and competing against non-traditional brokerages, and income tax secrets for agents. RealtyU is now accepting proposals to acquire existing courses or to accept new courses from leading and experienced authors.
