Insurance co. inks deal for office space

Mack-Cali Realty Corp. negotiated a lease agreement for 88,237 square feet of office space at One River Centre in Middletown, N.J.

High Point Safety and Insurance Management Corp., a subsidiary of Palisades Safety and Insurance Association, agreed to occupy the space for 11 years. The company will relocate its corporate headquarters from Holmdel, N.J., to the property.

One River Centre is a three-building class A office complex totaling 480,000 square feet. The property was 81 percent occupied at the time of the agreement.

Over the past year, companies have agreed to occupy more than 360,000 square feet at the complex, which was repositioned as a multi-tenant complex in 2003. One River Centre is located at Exit 109 of the Garden State Parkway.
