It's a market serious investors might just steer clear of altogether. After all, the concept of investing in a foreclosed property has all the markings of a good deal. But this risky market is also fraught with companies that promise, but don't always provide, reliable data or truly good deals.
Alexis McGee, president of Foreclosures.com, is the first to admit the market has been perceived as a risky investment opportunity. But she thinks her 19-year-old company has found the right balance of support, upfront sales information and detailed listings that allow property investors to get into the market without trepidation.
