- The National Association of Realtors will release its economic and housing outlook on Tuesday, April 6.
- The Center for Economic and Policy Research will publish the winning essay from its contest, "Why is the run-up in housing prices not a bubble?" on www.cepr.net Tuesday, April 6. The Center will award $1,000 to the most convincing essay.
- The Latino New Urbanism will host a discussion on Friday, April 23, in San Fernando, Calif., as part of its ongoing Latino New Urbanism 2004 Dialogue Series. The topic of the session is "LNU: What does it look like and how do you build it?" More details are available at www.latinonewurbanism.org.
- New York-based architect Bernard Tschumi will present a lecture at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C., from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8. Tschumi will discuss the meaning of architecture in projects ranging from small residences to urban plans. The cost is $12 to museum members and students and $17 for nonmembers. Register online.
