GMAC selects real estate tours

GMAC Home Services has selected Virtual Imaging Corp. as its national preferred provider of virtual tours and imaging products.

Jeff Michaels, VP of sales and marketing for Virtual Imaging Corp., said the company was pleased to have been selected by GMAC Home Services.

"Our stability as a 24-year old real estate imaging company and our reputation for high quality images with high service levels made for a great fit between our two organizations," Michaels said in a statement.

He added that online displays of for-sale homes information that include a virtual tour receive up to 40 percent more views than those that don't have a tour.

Virtual Imaging is a provider of virtual tours and MLS photography. The company has nearly 500 photographers in most of county's top metropolitan areas and processes nearly 2 million images and tours annually at its headquarters in Lake Geneva, Wis.

GMAC Home Services is comprised of GMAC real estate franchised offices, company-owned Offices, a mortgage operation and global relocation services. The group is backed by General Motors and has 1,300 franchised and owned residential real estate offices throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
