The Nehemiah Corporation of America today announced the launch of an online portal where registered industry partners can market participating Nehemiah properties directly to buyers who do not have the funds necessary for their down payment and closing costs.
The Nehemiah Listing Service allows the organization's real estate, builder and lending partners to upload properties available nationwide. The service can be found at GetDownPayment.com.
Partners who complete a registration process and receive confirmation, then can create, edit and delete their own property listings. Property profiles can include address, price, MLS number, and additional details with interior and exterior phots. The partner's contact information and corporate logo can be uploaded as well. Consumers can search for property in a specific state, ZIP code, area code, city or county. Properties can be displayed for a maximum of 90 days and can be displayed after for up to 30 days after they have been sold.
Sacramento, Calif.-based Nehemiah was founded in 1994 to increase home ownership opportunities. Its flagship program provides down payment assistance to home buyers.
