Stewart Title sells interest in south Texas office

Stewart Title Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp., has sold an interest of its Victoria, Texas, office to longtime Realtor Dennis Patillo.

Patillo, who has been active in the real estate brokerage industry in Houston for more than 30 years, was elected president of Stewart Title of Victoria. The office has been active in the Victoria real estate market since 1965 and has a staff of 11 title professionals.

"From this day forward, we are going to operate this company with the enthusiasm and commitment to customer service that you would expect from a start-up company," Patillo said.

Patillo served as the 1994 president of the Houston Association of Realtors and recently earned honors as its Realtor of the Year. He currently serves as secretary-treasurer of the Texas Association of Realtors.
