Greenspan reports to Congress; homeless advocates meet in D.C.

- The National Alliance to End Homelessness Annual Conference is slated for July 19-21, in Washington, D.C. The event is geared toward AIDS housing providers, state and local government officials, family transitional housing providers, supportive housing providers, homeless people, advocates, federal officials, service providers and employers.
- Alan Greenspan, chairman of the Federal Reserve, will give Congressional testimony on monetary policy and the state of the economy on July 21, at 10 a.m. EST in Washington, D.C.
- The 2004 Business, Environment, Learning and Leadership (BELL) Conference will be held July 22-24, in Chicago. The BELL Conference is organized by the Stuart Graduate School of Business & Center for Sustainable Enterprise, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the World Resources Institute. This year's theme is "Building a Sustainable City through Sustainable Enterprise."
- The National Conference of State Legislatures Annual Meeting is slated for July 19-23, in Salt Lake City. Conference sessions will cover topics such as housing, families and economic development; tax reform and school choice.
