Crude oil marketing co. expands in Houston

Trizec Properties inked a lease agreement renewal with Plains Marketing L.P. for 71,121 square feet at its Three Allen Center in Houston, Texas, with an expansion of 27,372 square feet of additional space on site.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Plains Marketing, a crude oil gathering and marketing company, will now occupy nearly five floors, or 98,493 square feet, in the class A office tower for the next eight years.

Trizec represented itself in-house in this transaction. Cushman & Wakefield of Texas represented Plains Marketing.

Chicago-based Trizec Properties Inc. is a real estate investment trust focusing on commercial office space.
