Office investor lands South Florida campus

Aquila Property Co. purchased a 190,000-square-foot office park in Palm Beach County, Fla.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The property, known as Innovation Business Park, is located at the northwest section of Beeline Highway and Innovation Drive.

The 16-acre campus includes a 450-seat cafeteria, a daycare center, fitness facility and a 400-seat AV presentation room.

Aquila purchased the property from The Weiss Group, a nationally recognized group of companies that includes firms dedicated to publishing, financial ratings and money management. The Weiss Group will keep its corporate headquarters at the property under a long-term lease for 50 percent of the office space.

DeVries Real Estate Counselors Inc. handled the sale of the property for The Weiss Group.

Aquila Property Co. Inc. is a South Florida-based company that specializes in acquiring and upgrading suburban office buildings.
