Shidler sells SoCal complex
Site comprises multiple structures
By Inman News, Tuesday, February 8, 2005.The Shidler Group has sold Chesapeake I & II, two three-story buildings totaling 88,260 square feet in San Diego, Calif.
The total value of the transactions was approximately $17.1 million.
The buildings are located at 9619 Chesapeake Drive and 9444 Farnham St.
The buyer was the Lomas Santa Fe Group and its purchasing entities were Lomas Pacific I LLC, and Lomas Pacific II LLC. The Shidler Group entity selling the property was Chesapeake I & II LLC.
The property was 97 percent leased at the time of sale, with major tenants including Scripps Home Health, California Bank & Trust, Kelly Staffing and HDR Engineering.
The Chesapeake Drive building is located on a 1.8-acre lot and the Farnham building occupies a 2-acre lot. Both were constructed in 1985.
The Shidler Group is a national real estate organization that acquires commercial real estate.
