SharperLending connects real estate lenders, vendors
Lenders can order appraisals, reports using accustomed software
By Inman News, Friday, February 11, 2005.SharperLending has beefed up its Web services, making it possible for lenders to place a single order for any number of vendor services without leaving the software they normally use, the company said Friday.
Lenders can now order appraisals, credit reports and other third-party information on SharperLending via their familiar software. SharperLending provides a secure Web-based platform where lenders can order, store and manage products and services from multiple vendors.
"Web services is one of the most dramatic advances in the mortgage industry, providing a superior level of integration between lenders and vendors," said Dave Black, president and CEO of SharperLending, in a statement. "Lenders can use SharperLending to assemble best-of-breed services into one system."
With SharperLending's new version of Web services, lenders gain quick access to third-party services and data and vendors do not have to make significant changes to their software or storage processes, the company said.
