Binswanger finds buyer for major Iowa property
Custom auto parts supplier plans to lease space
By Inman News, Thursday, July 14, 2005.Binswanger arranged the sale of the 441,185-square-foot, former Bridgestone/Firestone property in Des Moines, Iowa.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The one-story property, located at 2400 Northeast 46th Ave., is served by rail.
Bridgestone/Firestone, an international manufacturer of tire products, sold the property to Novastar, a local investment group. Novastar plans to lease the building to Dee Zee Inc., a Des Moines-based supplier of aftermarket truck accessories.
Philadelphia-based Binswanger is an international, full-service real estate organization.
