Electric utility developer lands space in Washington
Signs lease at business park
By Inman News, Friday, July 15, 2005.CarrAmerica Realty Corp. has announced that AREVA T&D Inc. signed a 110,000-square-foot lease at Willow Creek Corporate Center in Redmond, Wash.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
This transaction brings occupancy at Willow Creek Corporate Center to 82 percent, according to a press statement.
Philadelphia-based AREVA T&D Inc.'s Redmond unit develops and delivers (electrical) energy management systems to the electric utility industry in North America.
The 340 employees of the local AREVA T&D Inc. unit are expected to occupy the new space in Buildings E & F in early 2006.
Willow Creek Corporate Center, a 22.5-acre campus business park, consists of two three-story and four two-story buildings, totaling approximately 327,000 square feet.
CarrAmerica owns, develops and operates office properties in 12 markets throughout the United States.
