New Web site offers real estate job listings

An Atlanta real estate veteran, Pratt Farmer, has launched a job listings site, GreatRealtyJobs.com, for real estate professionals.

The new jobs site, which began operating in the Atlanta area in July, will be expanded this month to include an additional 21 cities, according to an announcement today. The new markets served will include: Birmingham, Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, Washington, D.C./Baltimore, Dallas, Denver, Fort Worth, Houston, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New Jersey, New York City, Orange County, Orlando, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco and Tampa.

"We created this company with a completely clean slate and every item that we offer is the result of intense market research," Farmer said in a statement. "We certainly have competition on the national level, but most of those sites are more horizontal in their appeal. We set out to penetrate a vertical market, residential real estate, with our number one goal of having qualified candidates ready to make a career change, while making the search much more defined, easier and less expensive for the employer."

The site is geared toward full-time and part-time real estate professionals in the residential sales, property management, construction and mortgage industries, including builders and mortgage professionals.

The jobs site is offering an introductory monthly rate of $119.95 to employers, and a regular monthly rate of $159.95 a month.
