ZipRealty improves online search for real estate listings
Web site now features satellite imagery, Spanish translations
By Inman News, Tuesday, August 23, 2005.ZipRealty Inc., a tech-powered residential real estate company, has rolled out some new features for its Web site, including live online chat with real estate agents, satellite imagery and more comprehensive search capabilities for property listings, and a Spanish-language version, according to a company announcement today.
An interactive mapping system allows consumers to search for homes by school district, proximity to a specific address, or by a designated area on a map that is defined by consumers.
The "En Espanol" edition of the Web site offers a translated version of the site's features.
"At ZipRealty, everything we have ever done has been in line with improving the consumer experience in buying or selling a home, and the introduction of a Spanish-language version follows that philosophy," ZipRealty CEO Eric Danziger said in a statement. "As we continue to grow, the addition of a Spanish-language version will help attract and better serve the home buying and selling needs of our Spanish-speaking customers."
ZipRealty, founded in 1999, is a full-service residential real estate company that operates in 14 major metropolitan areas in 10 states and in Washington, D.C. The company's Web site enables home buyers and sellers to access local Multiple Listing Services, home listings data, and other relevant information.
