SoCal manufacturing facility sold
Property includes sizeable office space
By Inman News, Thursday, August 25, 2005.Los Angeles investors have paid $12.8 million for a fully leased, 182,566-square-foot industrial facility in Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
John Street LLC acquired the property, which is located at 9601-9603 John St., from St. Louis-based Cambridge Leasing Corp.
At the time of sale, the building was occupied by U. S. Traffic Corp., a manufacturer of traffic and pedestrian lights, signals, light controllers, electronic message signs, and flashers.
The freestanding building is a concrete tilt-up structure located on 7.3 acres of land that also includes 28,000 square feet of office space.
GVA DAUM, a commercial real estate brokerage operating in Southern California and Arizona, brokered both sides of the transaction.
