Phillips Edison & Co. expands shopping-center portfolio
Acquires East Coast properties
By Inman News, Tuesday, September 27, 2005.Phillips Edison & Co. has acquired the Western Lights Shopping Center in Syracuse, N.Y., and Richardson Plaza in Columbia, S.C.
The total value of the transactions was not disclosed.
Western Lights totals 247,997 square feet and is anchored by Price Choppers and AJ Wright. Other retailers in the shopping center include Dollar Tree, Radio Shack and Fashion Bug.
Richardson Plaza comprises 107,827 square feet and is anchored by Food Lion. Other retailers in the shopping center include Harbor Freight Tools and Dollar General.
Phillips Edison & Co. is a fully integrated real estate company that acquires, develops, redevelops, leases and manages its retail real estate portfolio.
