Upscale apartment complex sold

Marcus & Millichap negotiated the sale of the 384-unit Red Hawk Ranch Apartments in Thornton, Colo.

The value of the transaction was $43.9 million.

Baron Properties LLC sold the complex to CH Realty III/Red Hawk LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

Built in 2000, Red Hawk Ranch Apartments is located at 12150 Washington Center Pkwy. The property consists of 16 buildings and 374,616 rentable square feet on 22.3 landscaped acres. The apartment community is comprised of 204 one-bedroom/one-bath units, 144 two-bedroom/two-bath units and 36 three-bedroom/two-bath units. Units range in size from 820 square feet to 1,211 square feet.

Community features include a 25-meter lap pool with hot tub, executive fitness center, business center, private movie theater with stadium seating, tennis court, sand volleyball court, basketball court, playground, courtyard and clubhouse.
