Joint venture sells Rhode Island apartments

CB Richard Ellis/New England negotiated the sale of GrandeVille at The Commons, a 234-unit apartment community in Wakefield, R.I.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

INVESCO Real Estate purchased the property from GrandVille at The Commons LP, a joint venture of LeCesse Development and The Tuckerman Group.

GrandeVille at The Commons is a brand-new, garden-style apartment complex that features 11 three-story buildings and seven two-story townhouses with high-end amenities throughout the development. The community contains a mixture of 78 one-bedroom units and 156 two-bedroom units with an average size of 1,113 square feet.

CB Richard Ellis/New England is a Boston-based joint venture of CB Richard Ellis and Whittier Partners Group with offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire.
