A la mode partners with Pipeline Solutions
Partnership bundles mortgage sites with loan origination system
By Inman News, Monday, October 24, 2005.A la mode and Pipeline Solutions plan to partner to bundle a la mode's Mortgage XSites with Pipeline's loan origination system, the companies said today. The partnership also would integrate paperless appraisal ordering.
Pipeline and a la mode will create a custom interface from a la mode's Mortgage XSites into Pipeline's loan software. A la mode's Mortgage XSites will provide Pipeline's users with a fully integrated Web site.
"Plugging Pipeline's LOS users into the XSites Network gives them a more efficient and faster way to work with their appraisers, and utilizing a fully integrated Mortgage XSite offers streamlined efficiencies for both the consumer and the mortgage professional providing on line tracking and status throughout the loan process," said Brad Eaton, vice president of product management with a la mode.
Mortgage XSites enable borrowers to complete mortgage loan applications online, with contact and application information sent directly to the Web site owner for follow-up. Mortgage XSites' DirectFax feature turns paper, whether application forms or pay stubs, employment records, statements, etc., into digital PDFs with the use of any ordinary fax machine.
Through this collaboration, Pipeline Solution users will also be able to place orders to their appraisers, right through their loan origination system, into the appraisal form filling software that resides on their appraisers' desktops. Appraisal assignment status updates will be pushed back to Pipeline users via a la mode's XSites Network. Appraisal reports will be delivered electronically back to the broker's desktop upon completion.
The companies made the announcement from the floor of the Mortgage Bankers Association's 92nd Annual Convention & Expo this week in Orlando, Fla.
