Office building award winner changes hands
Darien Green building sold for $19.2 million
By Inman News, Tuesday, October 18, 2005.CB Richard Ellis' New York tri-state investment team recently brokered the sale of the Darien Green office building in Darien, Conn., for $19.2 million, the company announced this week.
Under W&M Properties, Darien Green was the winner of the 1999 BOMA Office Building of the Year award for a suburban office park.
The 81,283-square-foot, Class-A, two-building office campus is currently leased to two tenants, with a third occupant under sublease.
The seller was Fairfield Darien Green Associations LP; the buyer was Normandy Real Estate Partners LLC. Bother CB Richard Ellis brokers represented parties.
