Stewart Default partners with Web-based servicing platform
BackInTheBlack to provide services to Stewart Default users
By Inman News, Tuesday, October 4, 2005.Stewart Default Solutions has partnered with MSTD, creators of the Web-based default servicing platform BackInTheBlack, the company said today. BackInTheBlack manages residential mortgage delinquencies from collections through loss mitigation, attorney referral, foreclosure and bankruptcy management, REO and claims.
Under the agreement, BackInTheBlack will provide support and services to Stewart Default's users.
"By partnering with (BackInTheBlack), we are able to offer a seamless, browser-based default technology to meet customers' unique requirements," said C. Alan Paylor, Stewart Default president.
Stewart Default Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Mortgage Information, a provider of mortgage information and services. Stewart Default provides Web-based default systems for lenders and investors. Services range from a national attorney network, collections, foreclosure and bankruptcy as well as REO asset management, and include integrated data applications, online workflow and transaction processes.
Baltimore, Md.-based MSTD is a privately held technology provider for creditor and debtors.
